    Youth Coaching Sessions, Saturday mornings at Middlesbrough Sports Village. Run by British Cycling qualified, DBS checked coaches. Riders attending this group must have been assessed and approved by a coach to ensure they are riding at an appropriate level. Any rider coming for the first time must attend the 9.45am session for assessment.

    Heard of the CTT Croft 10 mile Time Trials? We’re holding our own mini version at Middlesbrough Sports Village! How much can you improve your time? 3 options (using British Cycling age categories) 3km (Under 6’s only, who can be chaperoned), 5km, or 10km. Riders can switch distances from one event to another Sign on from 9.30am, First rider off 10am £5 entry (pay on the day) Prizes: 1st, 2nd & 3rd boy and girl in 3km each week 1st boy and girl in each age category each week for 5km and 10km Podium photos for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. End of series overall BIG prize for most improved boy and girl (must have at least 2 entries) Refreshments will be available, so join us for a friendly morning of Time trialling socialising, cheer on your friends, and if you really like it, those over 6 may like to have a go at the real Croft event some time!   • Racers: Halloween "Tricks for Treats"

    Riders are invited to wear a Halloween outfit on their bikes (Keep it safe - nothing that can get tangled in moving parts of the bike) This is completely optional. As well as the usual on and off road options, both groups will have fun skills courses in the session where riders can earn treats. All riders taking part will get some sweets to take home.

  • Beginners & Improvers: Tricks for Treats

    Riders are invited to wear a Halloween outfit on their bikes (Keep it safe - nothing that can get tangled in moving parts of the bike) This is completely optional. We will have fun skills courses in the session where riders can earn treats. All children taking part will get some sweets to take home.

  • Ladies Session

    Women's session for anyone who wants to gain experience cycling on a safe closed circuit. In this session, we'll also have Lucy Ellmore from Smurfit Westrock Cycling Team offering maintenance and repair tips. Girls from our raving group are also welcome if they come with their mum. Session costs £4 (pay on the day via card reader)

  • Beginners and Improvers

    Youth Coaching Sessions, Saturday mornings at Middlesbrough Sports Village for 4-18 year olds who are able to pedal on two wheels. Run by British Cycling qualified, DBS checked coaches. Riders with a disability who use adaptive cycles are also welcome - contact us to discuss any support requirements.

  • Race Group - Roller/Turbo session

    Due to extremely low temperatures and severe weather warning, we are cancelling the road session but offering an indoor session using rollers and turbo trainers. Due to the equipment we have, this is only suitable for bikes with 700c wheels (unless riders with smaller bikes have their own that they can bring) We can take up to 16 riders, taking turns over 2 hours. If no more than 8 register, the session will only be one hour. Please let us know if you will be bringing your own rollers or turbo trainer using the box below.

  • SWCC Youth Christmas Social

    Join us for one game of 10 pin Bowling at Hollywood Bowl, Teesside Park (£7.31per person). Lane will be booked for 6pm. Please arrive by 5.45pm to ensure we are ready to start as soon as our booking starts.
